gton in 2003. He was overwhelmingly re-elected to that position by an 80% ma=
jority in the November 2006 general election.=0D=0A=0D=0AHe holds a B.A. deg=
ree from the University of Washington, and is a graduate of the Senior Manag=
ement Institute for Police in Washington, D.C.=0D=0A=0D=0AMr. Brasfield has =
held a gubernatorial appointment to the Washington State Sentencing Guidelin=
es Commission, and is the past chair of the state Board on Law Enforcement T=
raining, Standards, and Education. He also served as an advisor to the Penin=
sula College Criminal Justice Program, and was the Vice-President of the Was=
hington State Sheriffs' Association. He has regularly served as either a mem=
ber and/or chair of Washington State law enforcement decertification boards.=
